Parents:
Here, you’re not an afterthought - you’re part of the plan.
About:
The Place was born from parents who wanted something better.
A place where kids can move and play - and parents can actually enjoy being there.
So we’re building it.
Meet Amy
Founder | Mom of Three | Marketing Veteran
I’ve spent more than 25 years building brands for Fortune 500 companies, as well as fast-moving startups.
But my most important role? Mom.
I have three kids (17, 14, and 11), and I’ve logged far too many hours in indoor play spaces - sitting on hard benches, navigating sticky floors, and desperately trying to hold a conversation over blaring music and kids screaming.
My kids had a blast.
I was relegated to a windowless, sterile “parent area” - where time slows, hope fades, and chairs are optional.
Sitting in that room, The Place was born.
My career has always centered on the same approach: spot what’s broken, understand what people actually want, and build something better.
And what was broken here was obvious - an entire business model had forgotten a very important audience: parents.
That’s why parents aren’t an afterthought here - you’re part of the plan.
So we’re saying goodbye to uncomfortable “parent areas” and hello to real lounges. Comfortable seating. Thoughtful design. Space to take a beat, reset, and reconnect with friends.
Kids play safely. You relax. Exactly how it should be.
